The Apple MacBook Air 13-inch 2020 is a lightweight premium laptop designed for students, professionals and everyday users who want the macOS experience in an easy-to-carry design.

Powered by the Intel Core i3-1000NG4 processor, it features 2 cores and 4 threads, a base frequency of 1.10GHz and Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.20GHz. It provides reliable performance for Microsoft Office, web browsing, emails, research, online meetings and general everyday computing.

This configuration includes 8GB of 3733MHz LPDDR4X onboard memory, providing smooth performance for standard multitasking. The RAM is integrated into the system and cannot be upgraded later.

A 256GB PCIe-based SSD provides fast startup, responsive application loading and practical storage for documents, applications, photos and everyday files.

The 13.3-inch Retina display features a sharp 2560 × 1600 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. True Tone technology automatically adjusts the display colour temperature according to surrounding lighting, providing a more natural and comfortable viewing experience.

Graphics are handled by Intel Iris Plus Graphics, providing better integrated graphics performance than the Intel UHD Graphics 617 used in the previous 2018 and 2019 MacBook Air models. It is suitable for everyday multimedia, presentations, Canva, light photo editing and basic creative work.

The 2020 model also introduced Apple’s improved Magic Keyboard with a scissor mechanism, providing a more comfortable and conventional typing experience compared with the butterfly keyboard used in earlier Retina MacBook Air models.

For security and convenience, the MacBook Air includes Touch ID, allowing secure fingerprint authentication for login and supported Apple services.

Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports that support charging, high-speed data transfer and external displays. A standard 3.5mm headphone jack is also included. The MacBook Air can support a high-resolution external display, including compatible 6K, 5K or multiple 4K displays through Thunderbolt 3.
